Re: 8 Million Strangers - I still think that at some point a bunch of us Myst fans should get together and draw/script a comic about a Stranger get-together. Or what would happen with a whole bunch of them on the island.
They should conform to archetypes, too. We have:
-The SERIOUS BUSINESS one, who keeps copious, hand-written notes.
-The puzzle progidy, who without notes somehow solves puzzles within six seconds
-the FPSer who is looking for something to kill and getting increasingly irritated that there is nothing.
-the person scarred by FPSes, who is expecting something to jump out and kill them and is scared by things like Sirrus' holo imager message in Channelwood (this was me. "OH GOD A MONSTER?!")
-The Gordon Freeman. Silent. Stoic. Lacking personality. Yet somehow endearing at the same time.
